Payment methods and currency

Payments are handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal. Both are PCI DSS compliant, all data is sent over an encrypted connection, and we never store full card details on our own servers.

The exact set of payment methods available to you is shown at checkout and depends on your country.

Cards

Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Local payment methods

Depending on where you are, one of these may appear at checkout:

Method

Country

iDEAL

Netherlands

Bancontact

Belgium

EPS

Austria

Klarna Pay Later

Selected EU countries

If you do not see a local method you expected, it is not available for your delivery country.

PayPal

You can pay with your PayPal balance, a linked bank account, or a card held in your PayPal account.

Currency

Our store is based in the Netherlands and operates in euros. If your bank supports multi-currency checkout you may see prices in your own currency, but the final charge is processed in euros.

We add no surcharge for any payment method. Your own bank or card issuer may apply a foreign transaction or currency conversion fee if your account is not in euros — that charge comes from them, not from us.

Is it safe to save my card?

Yes. Saved payment methods are tokenised and held by the payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.

A payment was declined

A declined payment is a decision made by your bank or card issuer, and we are not told why. Try a different payment method, or contact your bank.

If a failed attempt still shows on your statement, it is an authorisation hold rather than a charge. No order was created, and your bank normally releases the hold within a few business days.
